Disappointment

Disappointment.

You know that thing that reminds you that you’re not good enough, you aren’t where you thought you should be, or that puts you “back in your place.” Where does it come from?

One place it comes from is attaching an expectation on the outcome of a action we take. We make the phone call and the person on the other line responds the opposite way we anticipated. The business relationship we were working on for the past six months falls through.

The solution to this is relatively simple.

Remove the expectation or result of the action taken.
Start acting without the need or anticipation for a desired result just DO.

You’ll find you get WAAAAY more done and feel SOOOO much better about your day.

Why do you play the game?

If it’s for eventually arriving… I’m sorry. (because it won’t happen)

There is no such thing. Truth be told there isn’t a pot of gold on the other side of the rainbow… just another god damn rainbow.

What Questions Are You Asking?

Most people in business seek to answer their desire for more profit by asking all the wrong questions…

Such as:

How can we generate more revenue?
How do we increase our profitability?
What additional things can we sell?
Can we monetize this better?
How can we sex up our marketing?

These questions and others like them are simply short sided and hollow. If you wish to address long term, game changing progress on the growth of your business you should ask yourself these questions instead:

How can I better serve my core audience?
What can I improve in my product or service that will make a measurable impact?
Is the experience of my product/service making people fall out of their chairs in awe? (*If not we all have work do to)

Simple questions, HUGE difference.
